Singapore MRT System Map
Singapore has an extensive MRT and LRT network connecting the North, North-East, West and Eastern parts of the island to the Central Business District. Travelling times are short. Commuters can travel from the East to the West in about 48 minutes (Pasir Ris to Joo Koon), from the North to the South in about 40 minutes (Woodlands to Marina Bay) and from the Central Business District to North-Eastern edge in about 31 minutes (Raffles Place to Punggol). It takes approximately 27 minutes to get from City Hall to Changi Airport.
The rail system is fast, efficient, comfortable and inexpensive. Fares are distanced based with the maximum adult fare amounting to less than $2.50 per trip.
Also, do note that the dotted lines refers to lines which are under construction. These lines are scheduled to be completed by 2020.
